What happens if my cruise cannot take place due to the pandemic situation ? 


If you are affect­ed by any of the following :

  • your gov­ern­ment pro­hibits you from trav­el­ling to your des­ti­na­tion area
  • a lock­down mea­sure is in place or a quar­an­tine is imposed on your arrival or return from your cruise
  • there are bor­der clo­sure or restrict­ed move­ment mea­sures in place
  • we are unable to pro­vide your boat due to a deci­sion by the government

we will offer you the choice of post­pon­ing your cruise or can­celling it and receiv­ing a refund.

What happens if a crew member falls ill with covid or is declared a ‘contact case’?

The can­cel­la­tion insur­ance offered by Axa Riv­er Cen­tre cov­ers you if you or a mem­ber of your crew is diag­nosed with covid-19 but only if the ill­ness results in com­pli­ca­tions and hospitalisation.

If you do not take out can­cel­la­tion insur­ance and you test pos­i­tive for covid or are a ‘con­tact case’ then we will give you the option of resched­ul­ing your cruise to a lat­er date, upon pre­sen­ta­tion of proof.

What happens if I want to cancel my booking even though it is not affected by covid-19 ? 

If the cruis­ing is pos­si­ble, the rental com­pa­ny is able to accom­mo­date you and you are not affect­ed by any of the force majeure events list­ed above, then we will apply our gen­er­al rental conditions.

Terms of payment

The pay­ment con­di­tions remain unchanged : a deposit of 40% is required at the time of book­ing, and the bal­ance must be paid 4 weeks before depar­ture for the book­ing to be maintained.

A vac­ci­na­tion cer­tifi­cate is not required to board our boats.
