This musical instrument, the star of jazz, was invented here by Mr Adolphe Sax in the early 1840s. His house is open to the public free of charge and numerous activities and discovery tours are offered throughout the year.

This cave was only discovered in 1904, and its particularity is that it has never been inhabited. Why? Because it was under the sea at the time.
